Work starts on new roundabout to improve safety on major route between Windsor and Maidenhead

Work to upgrade a mini roundabout to prevent accidents and improve traffic flow on the A308 Windsor Road will start on 6 January, after travellers said they regularly experienced near misses on the key route between Windsor and Maidenhead.

Following preparatory work carried out earlier this year, work on the upgraded roundabout at the junction of Holyport Road with the A308 Windsor Road is set to take place after a consultation was held last year to propose a solution to meet increased demand from traffic that is expected by 2033.
