We are committed to supporting local people to get involved with what matters most to them in their local communities.Volunteering is a great opportunity to develop new skills or build on existing experience and knowledge. It also offers the chance to give something back to the community or make a difference to the people around you. If you&#39;re an organisation or community group with a volunteering opportunity please post details on the relevant tab below and we may be able to help you find a volunteer. The team works across Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead to build capacity within the voluntary sector with regular Information, consultations (like Ageing Well in the Borough), networking meetings and workshops e.g., safeguarding and volunteer management.<a href="https://sloughcvs.org/events-calendar/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">WAMGI Workshops</a><a href="https://sloughcvs.org/wam-get-involved/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sign up to WAMGI newsletter</a> One BoroughOne Borough is for community organisations and charities to come together to discuss ideas and work in collaboration with the council. One Borough works in partnership with RBWM and one councillor is appointed each year as formal representative, but all councillors are welcome to attend. One Borough tends to meet four times a year with a mix of in person and virtual events.
