What is being proposed?
Results collated for the consultation to extend the 20mph speed limit in Frances Road to include both Adelaide Square and the eastern arm of Grove Road received a total of 28 responses with 86 percent of respondents in favour of the proposed intervention. The borough has therefore decided to implement the scheme in spring 2023 as part of our commitment to improve road safety and promote walking and cycling. A summary of the results is shown in the chart below.
