Carers Time Out Card

The Carers Time Out card provides you with a free Leisure membership card or QR code for your phone which is scanned on arrival. The Carers Time Out scheme gives Carers issued with the letter admission free of charge to pools, courts, gyms and fitness classes.

Proof of ongoing eligibility for a Carers Time Out Cards will be requested annually. A new letter will be required each year by leisure services to confirm you are still a Carer.

The card is valid at the following centres:

  • Braywick Leisure Centre, Braywick Road, Maidenhead SL6 1BN
  • Windsor Leisure, Clewer Mead, Stovell Road, Windsor SL4 5JB
  • Charters Leisure Centre, Charters Road, Sunningdale SL5 9QY
  • Cox Green Leisure Centre, Highfield Road, Maidenhead SL6 3AX
  • Furze Platt Leisure Centre, Furze Platt Road, Maidenhead SL6 7

Legoland Windsor offer one free carer ticket when visiting with a disabled person. To find out more about the terms and conditions (including documentation required) and to book tickets, please visit Legoland's website.


National Discounts

Discounts for Carers have a range of offers that are available to carers and care workers. All you need to do is click on the link to their page and sign up for free.

Discounts include:

  • travel and holiday deals
  • money off fashion brands
  • savings on homeware and electricals
  • deals on mobile phones
  • utilities
  • gym memberships


The National Trust offers free entry to its sites as part of its Essential Companion card. The Essential Companion card makes it simple for a cared for person to bring one or two carers or companions for their visit, free of charge. Show the card when you arrive, and your carer(s) or companion(s) won’t need to pay an entry fee.

Carers and companions can still accompany for free without an Essential Companion card but it does make the process quicker and simpler.

 Please note: a cared for person will still need to pay or show their membership card.
