Tuesday 29th July 6:30-8:30pm: Panel Discussion: Balancing Nature Recovery with People
Join nature conservationists and large estate land managers to discuss one of the most controversial topics of the conservation world – can we protect, conserve and recover nature while allowing the free roaming of people in the countryside?
Bring your questions along as we try to navigate this topic with Peter Gibbs, ex-BBC broadcaster and meteorologist and now president of local conservation group Wild Maidenhead; Des Sussex, Biodiversity and Conservation manager for The Crown Estate; Josh Nathan, Conservation & Community Engagement Ranger at Burnham Beeches.

Wednesday 30th July 6-8pm: Beginner Friendly Nature Photography Walk
Bring your camera and join Hayley George, talented amateur photographer, on an evening walk around the beautiful nature reserve. Lear the basics of what makes a good photophraph and how to use your camera in golden hour.
Weather dependent, bring your own camera. This walk will be landscape focussed; any wildlife will be a bonus!
Wednesday 30th July 9-10pm: Bats and Beers
Bats, bats and more bats! We are going to head out on to the nature reserve after dark, equipped with a bat detector, to see (and hear) what’s swooping around. Come learn about the bats of the reserve and why they are such an important indicator for a healthy ecosystem! What can we do to encourage bats and why we want to encourage bats!
Bring your own beers, maximum 3 cans/bottles. 18+ event.
