Windsor Physical Environment
The Physical Environment project group have planted a community fruit orchard in Sawyers Close and will also plant a biodiversity area soon. They will also organise quarterly litter picking clubs to engage the community.

Plant-based initiative
Asa, Founder & Director of the Veg-N Society, presented at the the physical environment meeting on 6th Oct 21. Following her presentation we group discussed a number of ideas on how we can engage people locally in the plant-based diet, such as a green-up your plate campaign and cooking demonstrations.

Educational Programme
At the Physical Environment meeting on 3rd November, Zoe from Green Earth Plan discussed the idea of creating an educational programme for youth groups such as schools, Scouts, Brownies, Guides etc. The programme could be based at the Sawyers Close Community Orchard or the Community Garden.

Climate Anxiety Workshop
At the Physical Environment meeting on 1st December the group discussed the need for a Climate Anxiety Workshop, especially with young people in mind.

Plant-based Diet
At the Physical Environment meeting on 3rd November the group discussed the importance of adopting a plant-based diet as Agriculture has a big impact on the environment. Veganuary could present a good opportunity for this project.

Reusable period products
The Physical Environment group have add discussions with the Food Network about starting a reusable period product project. This idea has come discussions the Food Network were having on period poverty in the area.
