The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead will soon be opening the Deerswood Meadow site.
The 2.33 ha area of land located off Ray Mill Road East in the north-west of Maidenhead is in a residential area. Deerswood Meadow comprises of mostly grassland and some scrub, with a few small wooded areas. There is a Public Right of Way footpath across the south side. Deerswood Meadow has the potential to be a great local community open space as well as a haven for wildlife.
The council is keen to gather views from local residents regarding what they would like to see on the site. The survey comprises of a number of questions for what is most important for residents.
Deerswood is an urban setting and we are keen to balance the needs of local access and biodiversity. Any particular questions that cannot be answered in the form, please direct towards sustainability@rbwm.gov.uk.
