The Green Travel Day will take place on Saturday 4th October, from 11am to 2pm at Braywick Nature Centre. Hosted by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead in partnership with Braywick Nature Centre, the event will highlight the borough’s plans for on-street EV charging infrastructure, while also raising awareness around climate change, sustainability, Active Travel, and the Climate Challenge Fund.

There will be a mix of speakers and interactive stands, making it a great opportunity for residents to learn, ask questions, and get involved.

Speakers will include Cllr Douglas as the event host, Dug Tremellen, Transport Policy Manager, presenting the Royal Borough’s electric vehicle infrastructure rollout, and Heather Mynott, Climate Partnership Co-ordinator, discussing the Climate Challenge Fund.

Check in closer to the event as we add in more information!

Directions

Braywick Nature Centre is easily accessible by public transport, car or by walking.

Bus routes 16, 52 and 53 stop a five-minute walk from the centre. While Braywick's car park will be closed to accommodate the event, there is a pay-and-display car park located within a minute's walk.
