Where is Braywick Nature Centre and where can I park?

    Braywick Nature Centre

    1 Hibbert Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1UU

There is a free carpark on site.

How long can I keep the equipment for?

Usually two weeks. However this is flexible, when you come in to collect the equipment we will discuss your use case, who else is requesting the equipment etc and decide on a return date.

What if I break or lose the equipment?

All lending library equipment should be borrowed with care and due dilligence. Equipment is there for the whole community of Windsor and Maidenhead to enjoy and learn from. If anything borrowed is broken or lost, we reserve the right to charge for this. Any equipment lent out is signed for with responsibility to return timely and in good state.

What is the point of recording wildlife?

Nature conservation, like other fields of science, requires data. Data to know what wildlife is out there, what trends are occurring in times of movements, increases or declines in numbers, and other correlating factors. With this data, we can make plans and strategies to better conserve our wildlife and the habitats they require.
