CAN YOU HELP DRIVE NATURE RECOVERY?
The Berkshire Local Nature Partnership (LNP) brings together conservationists, experts, policy makers and communities to join up thinking and make change for nature on a landscape scale. Our Partnership Manager is Alistair Will, hosted by the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead: our Chair is Matthew Stanton of the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.
The LNP is currently being remodelled in order to co-ordinate delivery of Berkshire's Local Nature Recovery Strategy (LNRS), an ambitious plan to halt and reverse the decline of nature across the county. Our LNRS is one of 48 across England being delivered with support from Defra and Natural England, and can be viewed at Berkshire's Local Nature Recovery Strategy | RBWM Together
We are looking for a new board members to help us realise this vision. We need a diverse group of brilliant and energetic people with a broad range of cross-sector knowledge and experience. To find out more about our LNP and your role within it, please view our new Terms of Reference document via the link in the top right of this screen. Please note that these are unpaid positions requiring a commitment of 4 meetings per year and additional time in between.
