Public Consultation

Have your say

Following an early engagement survey at the beginning of the year, the community to is invited to take part in a public consultation on the draft Parking Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

The draft SPD provides guidance on parking provision for all types of new development within the Borough. It sets out how parking standards will be divided into four zones, reflecting:

  • Accessibility
  • Connectedness to the strategic transport network, and
  • Availability of public transport.

The standards are not expressed as minimum or maximum standards and would be applied flexibly in order to consider local circumstances. The SPD also provides guidance on matters such as cycle parking, motorcycle parking, visitor parking and disabled parking.

The consultation will run for six weeks from Monday 20th October 2025 until 11:59pm on Sunday 30th November 2025.

You can view the draft SPD and supporting documents via the links on the right-hand menu of this page. Alternatively, hard copies of these documents are available to view at:

  • Ascot Durning Library
