Driver and Tech Buddy Assistant

Berkshire Vision supports hundreds of blind and partially sighted children and adults across the county, helping them to live their lives to the full.

We are looking for volunteer drivers to support some of our visually impaired Tech Buddies. Tech Buddies help our Members with their smartphone, tablet or virtual assistance device. Some of our visually impaired Tech Buddies need driving to appointments to enable them to provide this vital tech support. Our Tech Buddies may also need sight assistance with tasks during the appointment such as reading printed material.

Our volunteer application procedure consists of an application form, 2 references, training and an Enhanced and Barring List Disclosure Check.
