Home Security Assessment volunteers

Maidenhead Community Watch Association provides free home security assessments to our vulnerable and elderly residents. These range from security lights and dummy cctv cameras to door chains and various other such items. We need volunteers to help carry out these assessments and training (short) is provided.

Windsor Horse Rangers

Do you like horses and children? How about volunteering with us on a Saturday or Sunday morning or afternoon? We are run by a team of enthusiastic volunteers and we are always happy to have new adults join us. A ‘horsey’ background is not necessary (but very useful!) – you need to have an interest in horses and the ability to interact with children. Out & About is a popular service delivered by Alzheimers Dementia Support, a local independent charity.Our aim is to provide carers in our community with planned respite, whilst providing a fun day out their loved one who has a diagnosis of dementia. The service is led by our Out & About Service Leader supported by a team of dedicated volunteers.The service takes place on Tuesdays in Maidenhead and every other Thursday in Windsor (meeting in Dedworth).
