St Marys World Café – Outcomes

Warm Places & Energy

Green Doctor – the Green Doctor have been engaged in most of our World Cafes and have offered energy support and advice to residents. They will continue attending each World Café

Energy Projects Manager – the Energy Projects Manager who works at the council is now engaged with the World Café programme and will provide additional information on the energy schemes available across the Borough

Innovation Fund – three projects have been funded by the innovation fund that relate to warm spaces. More information will be published about these projects in due course and the applicants will be invited to future World Cafes to promote these projects

Transport

World Café Venues – accessibility is always considered when choosing the event venues. We will continue selecting central venues for future events that are accessible as possible to residents

Infrastructure team – the feedback about transport has been relayed back to the infrastructure team at the council

Councillors – councillors were in attendance at the event and listened to residents’ concerns about transport

Cost of Living

Stands – all the stands at the World Café events are tailored for cost-of-living support in particular.

£5 voucher – at each event we endeavour to offer each resident a £5 voucher to use at a local store

Innovation Fund – a number of projects funded by round 2 of the innovation funding projects are focused on cost of living. More info will be published in due course

Leisure & Facilities

Sports, Health, Leisure Officer – feedback will be relayed to the Sports team at RBWM

Innovation Fund – residents have been signposted to the innovation fund to submit an application for their sports project ideas

Braywick Leisure Centre – partnership with the leisure centre. Residents feedback will be relayed to the team.

Safety

Community Wardens – wardens are present at every World Café event to listen to residents’ concerns

TVP – report will be sent the evaluation report

Councillors – were present to listen to residents’ concerns

Wellbeing

Innovation Fund – residents signposted to innovation fund

Infrastructure

Infrastructure & Housing team – feedback relayed to the Infrastructure & Housing teams at RBWM
