Our St Marys World Cafe was held on 6th October and had 60 residents and stakeholders in attendance. The event was held at Maidenhead Community Centre, by Kidwells Park. We had two workshops that residents were able to take part in: Tai Chi and a mini gardening activity by Natures Haven. Both of these groups have been funded by the RBWM Innovation Fund, a joint initiative by the council and NHS Frimley. In addition, an array of stands were present from adult learning to Berkshire Vision. Residents also enjoyed sitting down to talk to our hosts about the cost of living crisis and their solutions. A main selling point of the event was that every attendee received a £5 voucher to use at K&B Convenience Store on King Street!
