Nominations are now open for the RBWM Colleague Achievement Awards 2024, celebrating colleagues and teams who demonstrate excellence in delivering high quality services for our communities. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday 17 May.
Across eleven categories, the awards will recognise those who champion our HERO values. The awards include: Promoting Sustainability Award, Community & Resident Involvement Award, Outstanding Individual Achievement Award, Going Above and Beyond Award, Innovation in Service Delivery Award, Embracing Diversity Award, Delivery in Partnership Award, Team of the Year Award, Leader of the Year Award, Officer of the Year, and CEO Special Recognition Award.
The list of finalists will be announced on Monday 10 June and the winners will be revealed on Thursday 4 July at the RBWM Colleague Achievement Awards Event. Further details about the event will follow closer to the time.
Eligibility: Please note that only RBWM colleagues can make a nomination or be nominated.
Nominations:
You are able to submit one nomination per category, although you don’t need to make a nomination in all of the categories.
You cannot nominate yourself for an award.
Please include as much information as possible about the reasons for your nomination.
The deadline for nominations isFriday 17 May 2024.
Award Categories
Promoting Sustainability Award
Awarded to the team or individual who has demonstrated remarkable commitment to advancing sustainability within our Borough by working towards achieving the net zero and biodiversity targets set out in our Council Plan.
Community & Resident Involvement Award
Awarded to the individual or team that goes above and beyond in actively engaging local residents in council activities or the shaping of service delivery.
Outstanding Individual Achievement Award
In recognition of a significant achievement by an individual whose work has been distinguished by a continued commitment to excellence and improved outcomes for the borough and its residents and businesses.
Going Above and Beyond Award
Awarded to the colleague who has gone the extra mile to deliver great service or to meet the needs of residents or businesses in the borough.
Innovation in Service Delivery Award
Awarded to the individual or team with the most innovative approach to service delivery and/or achieving better outcomes.
Embracing Diversity Award
Awarded to the individual who best champions the virtues of diversity either within the RBWM and partner workforce or within the community.
Delivery in Partnership Award
Awarded to the team or individual that demonstrates a collaborative approach with partners to achieve better outcomes for the residents and businesses of the borough.
Team of the Year Award
Awarded to the team that has continuously provided outstanding service to our residents, businesses, partners or internal customers by living and breathing the council’s values.
Leader of the Year Award
Awarded to the individual that knows what leadership is and evidences it on a daily basis in their approach to motivating teams and/or colleagues.
Officer of the Year Award
Awarded to the colleague who best exemplifies the council’s values, on a continuous basis, to achieve better outcomes for the people of the borough.
CEO Special Recognition Award (not open for nominations)
Awarded by the CEO to an individual or team who has achieved significant success and demonstrated the RBWM values over the past year.
