Digital Ambassadors

Having delivered a very successful Summer Term of IT classes in Slough and Maidenhead, we are working towards our next term after taking a small holiday break. We have set up various taster sessions in three different venues to attract different sections of community and from there we will set up longer classes. Taster sessions are an excellent way to assess need, work out ability levels, number of people and venue preferences. Through this funding, we are aiming to help as many people as we can so we are constantly working on attracting new participants especially the ones who are marginalised, isolated and vulnerable. Digital participation can have an impact in minimising loneliness and depression. And we believe that access and use of digital devices and the internet are important for helping people stay in touch with friends, learn new things, and access a wide range of entertainment which is an important part of overall Health and Wellbeing.
