Flowers, bells, music and song uplift the community

St. Andrew's Church in Wraysbury was filled with music and flowers on April 26th. Bells rang out across the neighbourhood to welcome the 70 guests to our Spring Concert. Music ranged from classical to pop from the organ, piano and harp, with songs ranging from a cockney knees up, through musical theatre to the Beatles....what an evening!

Bridging Hearts – Project Update (19 May 2026)

WIDEThe Bridging Hearts project continues to provide vital support to 22 vulnerable and older BAME women living in the Maidenhead and Windsor Borough who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation.With the onset of warmer weather, project activities have successfully transitioned from the community centre to a local community park. This change has created a more accessible and informal setting, encouraging greater participation and engagement.Many of the women involved in the project live alone, have limited English proficiency, or face cultural and financial barriers that restrict their involvement in mainstream social activities. Reducing Mental and Physical Health Inequalities 20 May 2026

We’re working to reduce mental & physical health inequalities for young people in Maidenhead and Windsor 💬💪So far, 18 young people have taken part in mentoring, workshops, and wellbeing activities designed to build confidence, resilience, and everyday coping skills—especially for those facing barriers to support.While early attendance has been lower than expected, we’re strengthening our outreach by working directly with schools, youth spaces, and the community. We’re also introducing peer ambassadors to help spread the word and reduce stigma around mental health.Our goal: create accessible, culturally sensitive support that truly meets young people where they are 🌍
