Our local litterpicking group has now spent the full amount of the RBWM grant on buying additional litterpicking equipment. Although our growth has been quite slow going we now have 21 new recruits and the extra equipment means we have been able to do quite a lot of group picks with scouts/cubs, schools and corporate volunteers, which has been fantastic and really enjoyable. What’s really encouraging is how positive residents are whenever we go out on our litterpicking sessions, saying how much they appreciate what we do. We got a thank you from our village magazine too!
