We have reached the stage where a draft SPD has been prepared and we are keen to get your views on it. The draft SPD provides detailed guidance to support high-quality, context-sensitive shopfront design across Maidenhead town centre.

How to comment on the draft SPD

The best way to comment is by completing our online response form on the Maidenhead Town Centre Shopfront SPD Consultation Portal, which includes a short questionnaire.

You can also comment by completing the response form in the document list below and return it to us either:

  • By post to Planning Policy Consultations, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, Town Hall, St Ives Road, Maidenhead, SL6 1RF

All comments must be received by the Council by 11:59pm on Sunday 30th November 2025.

  • Maidenhead Town Centre Library – Thursday 6th November 2025, 11am to 3.30pm 

  • Maidenhead Town Centre Library – Thursday 13th November 2025, 10am to 2pm
