We're Windsor Cycle Hub - a 100% volunteer run charity dedicated to helping to make Windsor an even better place to live because more people use bikes to get around.

We've been going for 3 years now and in that time we've put hundreds of bikes, that were rusting away in garages, back on the road (as well as cycle paths). We've also taught loads of adults, some of whom have never ridden, to ride a bike with confidence.

We give re-furbished bikes to people who can't afford to buy one, and sell others to people at very reasonable prices. Maybe they need to get to work, or school, perhaps something to leave at the railway station (and not worry if it's stolen), they want to get fit(ter) or do their bit to help fight climate change. These are all good reasons, we don't judge - we just help people to ride bikes.

Want to help us keep growing? Then come to The Swan community pub at 9 Mill Lane, Clewer Village for a chat. We're there every Saturday from 11am for a few hours. If we're not fixing and safety checking bikes, we're out taking guided rides to build people's confidence. So, we need:

1. People that can fix bikes - or be willing too learn how to do it

2. People who can ride confidently and show others how to do the same

3. People with a friendly manner to Meet and Greet our visitors

4. IT experts and social media gurus to take care of matters not on two wheels

5. Campaigners to help us work with RBWM, the Police and landowners to get a better deal for people on bikes

6. Fundraisers - those bike parts and our training cost money, can you help us raise more?
