Practical engineer to help those with a disability

Remap is made up of volunteer engineers who make aids for those with disabilities that are not available commercially to enable them to do what would otherwise not be possible: sports, hobbies, travel, work, education, mobility, personal care. This is a free service provided by engineers who volunteer their time and skills. You will need a workshop at home (or access to one) and a car to visit clients, andthe ingenuity and practical skills to solve problems. We reimburse expenses.

Visit https://remap.org.uk/branches/berkshire/ (scroll down to the bottom) to learn more and take our tests.

Time commitment: The time required is up to the volunteer, both in terms of the duration and timing. Could be fitted in evenings and weekends for those working.

Our volunteers work from home
