Volunteering at Filling Good - the local and not for profit zero waste shop

Do you want to help the first and only carbon negative community and not for profit shop in Maidenhead?

Be part of the lovely bunch of volunteers who tries to make a difference for our planet?

We are still looking for volunteers! From 4 hours every 4 weeks, you can get 10% on your purchases in the shop. You need to be a member to be able to volunteer. Here are the roles we need :

  • Shop floor volunteers - ideal to be at the heart of Filling Good, meet the customers and other volunteers! One shift is 4 hours. No strings attached, you volunteer when you can. A food safety training is provided to you.
  • Duke of Edinburgh volunteers manager : we are very happy to offer to teenagers in the borough the possibility to volunteer one hour per week at the shop for their DofE award! But this requires some coordination and planning in the background! Estimated time per week : 1:00 to 1:30
  • Blogs, Social media, advertising for Filling Good : you feel outgoing and want to make us known and beloved locally? This role is for you!
  • Ordering: you feel comfortable behind a screen, and are happy to help making sure that products are always available in the shop… And like excel!
  • Labels manager!! We would love to have an artistic volunteer that would help us to keep our labels in the shop beautiful and neat. Any DIY expert around?

If any of these roles are of interests for you, find more information about membership here and send an email to shopping@fillinggood.co.uk for more information, or look here for more information: Get Involved | Filling Good
