Summer Environment and Climate Experience

28 July → 01 August 2026

The Environment and Sustainability Team, based at Braywick Nature Centre, offer one summer week of work experience from 28th July - 1st August 2026.

Teams and activities may include:

The Flooding Team - learning about SUDs, helping with flood investigations

The Ecology Team - ecology surveys, planning application experience, Biodiversity Net Gain experience

The Energy and Decarbonisation Team - experience with Sustainability Policy, energy monitoring, renewables grants and applications

The Natural Environment Team - helping prepare and volunteer at the Braywick Nature Festival, practical conservation, site visits

The Climate Partnership - learning about the partnership and engagement methods
