25th -28th January 2027 is the practical conservation work experience week with the RBWM Natural Environment Team.

Activities may include: coppicing, hedge laying, orchard pruning, litter picking, mulching of paths, tree care, pond clearance/digging, tree planting, tool preparation/cleaning

Summer Environment and Climate Experience

28 July → 01 August 2026The Environment and Sustainability Team, based at Braywick Nature Centre, offer one summer week of work experience from 28th July - 1st August 2026.Teams and activities may include:The Flooding Team - learning about SUDs, helping with flood investigationsThe Ecology Team - ecology surveys, planning application experience, Biodiversity Net Gain experienceThe Energy and Decarbonisation Team - experience with Sustainability Policy, energy monitoring, renewables grants and applicationsThe Natural Environment Team - helping prepare and volunteer at the Braywick Nature Festival, practical conservation, site visitsThe Climate Partnership - learning about the partnership and engagement methods
