Windsor & Royal Borough Museum is located on the ground floor of Windsor Guildhall and shares its home with the Royal Windsor Information Centre. We are open Wednesday - Sunday, 10am - 4pm and admission is free to all.

Visitors can learn about the rich local heritage of our unique Royal Borough by exploring objects from the prehistoric times to the present day and listening to stories from the past, told by local residents. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff can also help with a wide range of services for visitors and local residents alike, from booking attractions, event tickets and places to stay, through to travel information and generally promoting our local tourism and hospitality businesses.

Exhibition - Windsor Parish Church

We have a pop up exhibition at the Windsor Parish Church - St John the Baptist, just a short walk down the High Street from Windsor Guildhall. The exhibition was installed to mark 200 years since the church was rebuilt and will remain permanently in the church so visitors can learn about the Parish Church from its medieval origins to the present. The Church is also home to the famous painting by Francis de Cleyn of the Last Supper.
