Arts & Crafts

Over the past few months, we’ve run a series of arts and crafts sessions in our charity shop. These have given people a simple, welcoming space to get involved in creative activities and meet others.

The relaxed setting has made it easy for people to drop in and take part at their own pace. They’ve also brought more people into the shop and created a positive, friendly atmosphere and some beautiful art!

In April, the sun was shining, and at Datchet Village Hall we were able to use the outdoor gym equipment, giving women the confidence that they can access local facilities and stay fit. Empowering women to take stock of their health and know that keep fit spaces in the community are available free of charge. We continue to build strength and resilience together.

Bridging Hearts – Project Update (19 May 2026)

WIDEThe Bridging Hearts project continues to provide vital support to 22 vulnerable and older BAME women living in the Maidenhead and Windsor Borough who are experiencing loneliness and social isolation.With the onset of warmer weather, project activities have successfully transitioned from the community centre to a local community park.
