Oaken Grove Park - Summer on the Flowerbeds!

Despite the hot weather the Flowerbeds are looking great! The pollinators are having a wonderful time. This all goes to show that the two sessions we (Friends of Oaken Grove Park, Wild Maidenhead and Good Gym) did to revamp and reseed the flowerbeds really worked! The display is as good as we hoped it would be this summer and a real asset to the park! Well done all!

Our Tai Chi class continues to grow, with everyone enjoying the journey toward better health and well-being. Tai Chi is a gentle form of exercise that helps improve balance, flexibility, coordination, and overall fitness, making it especially beneficial for older adults.During last week's session, our Tai Chi master demonstrated the principles of Tai Chi Push Hands, showing how this practice develops balance, body awareness, coordination, and relaxed movement. These skills not only help build confidence but can also improve stability and contribute to fall prevention in everyday life.
