We are back and had a full hall for our first class of the Autumn Term; great to see everyone's commitment to focusing on their wellbeing through movement.

Oaken Grove Park - Upper Pond Gravel Delivery

Today a group of volunteers collected, transported and shoveled 3 or 4 tonnes of gravel kindly donated by a local resident to the Sir Nicholas Winton upper pond in Oaken Grove Park. The gravel will for the base of a new wildlife pond in the old derelict pond. Once completed with a pond liner and planting the new wildlife pond will look great and be an essential resource for hedgehog, foxes, insects, bats and birds - especially in the warmer summers expected. Sun sea and ice cream...no need to go away when you can holiday with your local churches!!

The churches of Wraysbury, Horton and Colnbrook (CHW Churches) created a true holiday feel for the local older residents with their "Holiday at Home" event in August. A five day extravaganza included games, puzzles, live music, glass decorating, hand massages and high tea. There was even a day at the seaside, with sand, paddling, mini golf and of course, ice cream! A fantastic week with a chance to have fun and make new friends!
