Ascot Placemaking area

The Borough Council recognises the importance of 'placemaking' as part of planning for future growth and development, and that the quality of the place people live in and use will have a powerful impact on quality of life. The Council, in collaboration with the community, seek to rejuvenate Ascot to create a vibrant place with an improved High Street and high quality new development that is integrated into Ascot and retains its green and leafy character, whilst also seeking to improve connectivity between South Ascot and the High Street. The Placemaking Area has Ascot Railway Station at its centre to emphasise the importance of public transport.
