Children's Sports and Activities Volunteers

Sight loss can take away independence and confidence, and leave those affected isolated. Berkshire Vision supports hundreds of blind and partially sighted children and adults, helping them to live their lives to the full.

We offer a continually developing sport and activities programme for our visually impaired Members and we need volunteers to help. You can either focus on the sport or activity that interests you, or maybe you feel able to volunteer across several activities. We are looking for volunteers to assist with; baseball, dragon boating, swimming, tennis and visits to the museum. Volunteers attend, support and guide our Members, as well as, joining in the fun.

The time commitment varies and is very flexible as we have sports and activities happening all the time.

Please note that applicants need to be aged 18 or over. Our application procedure consists of an application form and 2 references. Some positions require a DBS check.
