Odd One out have had a great 2023! We have managed to engage young people through talks about careers, identity and resilience. Our focus throughout the year has been especially on Mental Health as we feel that this is still a stigma within various communities.
Odd One Out participated and co-organised a tournament with professional footballers to engage corporates and communities in coming together through Football. We even made an appearance on Sky Sports and have the support of current professional footballer Steven Caulker. The Odd One out team even made it to the quarter-finals!

Our engaging talks about social isolation and loneliness with young people with a touch of comedy throughout the year have been received well. We have a strong plan going forward into 2024 with regular sports tournaments and community outreach. Our aim now is to consistently help the community around us to keep engaged through more activities and workshops.
We are looking to build on our existing network and create more connections for the year to come!

We chose the Windsor Pantomime to be our last ‘social’ of the year. The boys were treated to seats right near the front, so were involved in all the fun right from the start (including getting very wet after the water spraying during ‘the 12 days of Christmas) 💦
We had ice-cream in the interval and even got a wave from Basil Brush himself 🦊❤️👍We chose the Windsor Pantomime to be our last ‘social’ of the year. We recently finished the outdoor season having beaten the weather and played all 20 weeks so far. The numbers continue to grow and we were averaging over 20 men and women each week in September. We have now moved indoors to Windsor Leisure Centre for the winter. Its still Thursdays at 11am, but we have already had to add an extra hour as numbers are so high!
All new players always welcome. Please email tristan@329marketing.com or call 07774 243850

Our Lunch Club members enjoying their freebie 'Summer Afternoon Cream Tea.' The cream tea was held on the Friday after our Fish 'n' Chip Dinner on the Thursday, meaning our members had another social outing to look forward to that week. By organising these events, we hope to help battle social isolation and loneliness, and help build new friendships for our members.

Our lunch club members enjoying their freebie Fish 'n' Chips dinner and afternoon out at the Jolly Codgers Lunch Club, Woodlands Park Village Centre. The afternoon included Fish 'n' Chips followed by Ice Creams for Dessert and a game of bingo. The Club helps our members battle loneliness and build friendships in their local community. Many of our members have made new friends now meet up throughout the week for coffee, dinner etc. Pictures taken after lunch was served, as things get a little manic while serving out all those portions. A good day had by all.

Community Warm Space & All Souls Community Coffee Shop
by aledpugh, over 2 years agoThe community warm space and coffee shop is going brilliantly, we thoroughly enjoyed the visit by Nicky and Sumayyah last week, and appreciate all the support.
We've now got groups filling up the week, making it an engaging, accessible, useful community space for all. A few weeks ago we launched the Share Fresh Food Bank on Friday afternoons, collecting near end date food from local supermarkets and making it available for those in need in the community.
We're also looking to introduce a seated exercise class for later in the week.
