To get people out and about on the MBW we need to erect some permanent high-quality notice boards around the route to let people know about the MBW: - “This is a map of the historic walk” "You are here” ”The History of the walk”- “Historical sites nearby” “Flora, Fauna and wildlife to watch out for” - and other local knowledge that might be added via QRS codes. The Historic Boundary Walk is promoted and run by Rotary in Maidenhead as a yearly public event on the first Sunday in October. This event can attract over 600 people, who through sponsorship can make £20,000 for over 50 local charities. However, the idea is more about promoting the walk as a regular facility which can be used by locals.

To create a fund to fight the building of a football stadium and office block and 150 car parking spaces plus coach park at Braywick Park. Loss of rugby pitches for 150 young rugby players, 50 of whom are girls, many of which is their first experience of competitive, organised sport. Loss of free access to running track for Maidenhead residents, loss of green belt open space for all to enjoy.
