So the reason it took a little longer to update here again was that I had put together a feedback from - and hear it from the horse's mouth, so to speak!
Here is a sample of what our lovely 70+ yogis said about the Limited Mobility Yoga (more will be in the case study):
Why did you start yoga?
I wanted to try a form of exercise I could cope with which would help my body and mind
Needed easier movement exercise after recovering from breast cancer

How do you feel after a few yoga sessions?
Happy with classes , wanting to continue

Have you noticed a difference in how you feel, good or bad, in body and mind?
Felt better after the second session. More alert physically and mentally
Has helped with neck tension
What is your favourite thing about the yoga sessions?
Teacher has a sunny disposition which is contagious
Lovely tutor. No pressure to perform. Small supportive group. Feels comfortable and relaxing environment.
What can we do better?
Very satisfied, make sure instructions are loud enough
Nothing - carry on with what you do
Would you recommend the limited mobility yoga sessions?
Every response said:"YES!!"
Anything else you would like to share?
Please keep going with the classes
Start the class at 11 and not 10-45!
I love getting this valuable feedback and will take the ideas into account for the next sessions.
Have a great week all!

We had the pleasure of meeting local residents, councillors and other service providers at the World Cafe event today at Maidenhead Community Centre. We’ve made some great contacts to help us on our fundraising and service provision journey and signed up some volunteers as well!
Thank you to Nicky, Sumayyah and the rest of the team for organising us all and we look forward to future events.

The lovely committed ladies demonstrating ‘dancing with rainbows’.
I am so impressed with how well they are doing, their desire to learn (even some theory!) and keenness to practice at home.
I love hearing the positive feedback which inspires me to bring new practices to the class which are always well received.

A room full of excited students for our limited mobility yoga (could not get all of them on the photo) - and from chatting to them this morning, they came for yoga and community, too, which really makes my heart smile. A lovely group, with our oldest student being 87 years old, and the youngest 70!

Some of our innovation funding was spent on a banner for our stall, flyers and seeds. We were kindly supported by Flowerland Garden Centre in Bourne End, who donated some plants for us to sell.
We are still looking for a permanent site for our flagship healing garden – if you know of any suitable plots please do let us know!

Taster sessions are an excellent way to assess need, work out ability levels, number of people and venue preferences. Through this funding, we are aiming to help as many people as we can so we are constantly working on attracting new participants especially the ones who are marginalised, isolated and vulnerable. Digital participation can have an impact in minimising loneliness and depression. And we believe that access and use of digital devices and the internet are important for helping people stay in touch with friends, learn new things, and access a wide range of entertainment which is an important part of overall Health and Wellbeing.

During the Summer Windsor Street Angels continue to support the vulnerable across Windsor Town Centre and in our hub on a Friday and Saturday night. Our shift times are 10pm - 4am and we held an open evening during slightly more sociable hours to help answer questions to prospective volunteers. With five new volunteer sign ups this summer we have been able to expand the hub opening hours to include the Friday on August Bank Holiday weekend.
